☑️ AHL-Napoli-2023 | Date: 13 – 25 November 2023 

DigitalHealthUptake flew to Italy for the AHL Napoli and hosted a dedicated Catalyst session on “Scaling up digital health for care continuity” which focused on scaling up digital health solutions to support prevention, risk assessment, early identification and management of chronic diseases, also facilitating care continuity and service integration. 💡Discover the key takeaways. 

☑️ EHTEL symposium | Date: 29 November 2023 

From Italy to Belgium: DHU hosted a catalyst session at the EHTEL Symposium 2023, on implementing digital health solutions in the community. The session featured three experiences showcasing the deployment of digital health solutions to enhance primary care, integrate health with social care, and evaluate the benefits of home care.

☑️ IHD conference - Digital Health Data week | Date: 1 December 2023 

At the European Institute for Innovation Through Health Data’s Conference, DHU hosted a session, "Patients in the Driving Seat", exploring patients' perspectives on health data sharing. The focus was on understanding its essential role in their healthcare journey and integrated care.

The 1st Gravitate Health Hackathon, themed "Design Patient Information of the Future" has new dates:17-19 January 2024. Participate in a study on assistive technology: SEURO 

The SEURO Project seeks individuals aged over 65 in Ireland and Sweden (Region Västerbotten), living with multimorbidity, and interested in using the ProACT digital health intervention for home self-management. To be considered, participants must be diagnosed with two or more of the following chronic conditions: Diabetes, COPD, heart failure, or chronic heart disease

The project team unveiled the Catalogue of Services, spotlighting involvement, growth, and route-to-market services, adding another layer to the project's success.

 What solutions should the EU prioritize in its digital health strategy by 2030? 

DIGITALEUROPE's latest manifesto, "Europe 2030: A Digital Power House" proposes 20 solutions to strengthen European tech leadership. One emphasizes the need for a digitally focused EU health strategy.This strategy calls for dismantling barriers to health data usage, promoting the scalability of digital health solutions, and harnessing AI tools for the improvement of patients and healthcare systems.

New study on psoriatic arthritis: iPROLEPSIS 

The iPROLEPSIS-PDPID study has just begun.The research will develop a new way of measuring inflammation in patients with psoriatic arthritis and will be conducted in four countries: the Netherlands, the UK, Portugal and Greece. The primary objective is to develop a cohort to create smartphone and smartwatch-based, AI-driven digital biomarkers for the remote assessment and monitoring of individuals with psoriatic arthritis.

InnovaHeart 2024: the joint European workshop on the digital heart 

The 2nd edition of the workshop will gather cardiovascular in-silico modelling experts to discuss the challenges of transitioning in-silico models from research environments to clinical application, including industry problems, traditional and in-silico trial design and execution, validation needs and strategies, credibility of in-silico models, predictive capability of model validation results, and the translation of in-silico trial outcome metrics into meaningful endpoints for clinical evaluation. 👉 Learn more
